Montessori Classes:
Meet Monday through Friday, except on traditional school holidays.
Morning class is from 8:30 to 11:30 A.M.
Afternoon class is from 12:30 to 3:30 P.M.
* 2011-2012 tuition (5-day program) is $4140.00 and can be paid in full or in nine (9) payments of $460.00. Full payment or the first monthly payment is due by August 15.
* A 5% discount is given for tuitions paid in full by August 15. ($3933.00 discounted rate)
* A one-time registration fee of $90.00 is required for the fall programs. The child is then enrolled until he or she leaves for first grade.
* Yearly material fee of $40.00 is also required.
*Financial aid may be available for families that qualify.
*LVMS accepts families receiving childcare assistance.
| Extended day hours:
6:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
(Before & after the Montessori class time and on days there is no Montessori)
* Extended day fee is charged only for the time the child is actually in extended day.
* The fee is $4.85 per hour and is calculated to the quarter (1/4) hr.
* A second child from the same family is charged $4.40 per hour.
* Extended day is flexible and can be used regularly or occasionally.
* Parents may choose to pack a cold lunch or order from our hot lunch menu ($2.25 per meal, price subject to change).
The school provides milk for all children eating lunch.
* LVMS is on the food program offering free and reduced meals for children of famlies that qualify.
* Morning and afternoon snacks are provided in both Montessori and extended day.

Summer Program:
An all summer program is available for the children. There are 6-weeks of summer Montessori and the remaining weeks are extended day. Additional outside and water activities are enjoyed by the children.
A summer application and small registration fee is required for each summer program. It is optional and more flexible. Parent may choose the weeks their child will attend.
There is a weekly fee ($115.00 per week) for the 6 weeks of summer Montessori class time. The remaining hours a child is in our program is billed at the extended day rate. *** Summer Montessori is billed only for the weeks the child is signed up to attend and the extended day hours are charged only for the hours the child is in attendance.
The summer program includes, but not limited to, gardening, life cycles of frog, butterfly/moth, meal worms, explore pond life, volcanoes, rocks, magnetism, weather, ocean, lake and river life, origami, art, reptiles, amphibians and dinosaurs. The children learn the names of the parts of the fish, flower, tree, butterfly, ants, and birds. Various activities are presented to meet the different developmental levels of the children.
A summer calendar and list of planned activities are available. Bruce, The Bug Guy, will be presenting to the children on June 28. Bruce brings live bugs, spiders, scorpions, caterpillars, and moths as well as many preserved bugs and insects for the children to learn about. It is a unique hands-on experience that fits well with our summer activities.
